Here are a few tips to protect your Clumber when the mercury drops.
- Be careful if you let your Clumber Spaniel off the leash in snow or on ice, especially during a snowstorm, our white Clumbers can easily become lost. wink!
- Thoroughly wipe off your Clumbers legs and stomach when he comes in out of the sleet, snow, or ice. He can ingest salt, antifreeze or other potentially dangerous chemicals while licking his paws, and his paw pads may also bleed from snow or encrusted ice.
- Make sure your Clumber has a warm place to sleep and snore! Remember, they love to be a part of the family, so a cozy bed or pillow of their own is perfect.
